Is the wallet check really free?
Yes. Checking a BTC, ETH or USDT (ERC20/TRC20) address against our sanctions and ransomware databases is free and doesn't require signing up. A business API with higher limits is available for exchanges.
What data sources do you check against?
We compare the address against the OFAC SDN sanctions list and the Ransomwhere ransomware-address database. If there's no direct match, we also analyze the wallet's recent transactions up to two hops deep for indirect exposure to flagged addresses.
What does "indirect exposure" mean?
It means the wallet itself isn't on any blacklist, but it recently transacted with an address that is (1 hop) or with an address that transacted with one (2 hops, a weaker signal). We show the percentage of analyzed volume involved.
Which cryptocurrencies and networks are supported?
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDT on both ERC20 and TRC20 networks. About 10 more networks are planned.
